Coffee Bunker Programs
The Coffee Bunker offers a wide range of programs, from Arts & Crafts to Fighting Addiction support groups. Here is some information on the current programs available for Veterans of all ages. Check the calendar for dates and times. For more information on any of the programs at the Coffee Bunker, call us at 918.637.3878.
Community Connect allows other agencies to use the Coffee Bunker for workshops, speaking events, meetings and classes to present their information and programs to the veteran community at large.
Operation Scout provides free WIFI, computer access, skill and career assessments, tutoring, printers, resume and job search help, and service connection help that are available until 10pm Monday thru Thursday and 11pm on Friday and Saturday. This service is useful in providing our student and working veterans with help that extends to the hours that fit their schedules. Operation Scout is made possible through a grant from Spirit AeroSystems.
Fighting Addiction provides veterans with a 12-step group that welcomes all addictions in an environment with other veterans who share the same struggles.
Lady Bunker refers to the 4-hour block of time when the Coffee Bunker is open only for its female population. This provides a safe, comfortable environment for those women who have suffered from sexual abuse and the anxiety associated with this type of trauma. The purpose of this is to help reintegrate these ladies at a pace they can control according to their own individual needs.
Operation Safety Net
Operation Safety Net is a program that provides immediate shelter to male homeless veterans who have the need. Coffee Bunker is the only veteran organization that can immediately provide this essential resource. This program collaborates with John 3:16 Mission, and can provide a transitional shelter stay that can last up until 2 months. Operation Safety Net is available from 11am until 10pm Monday thru Thursday and 11am until 11pm on Friday and Saturday.
For more information, visit the Operation Safety Net page.
VTC Engage is a collaboration with Veterans Treatment Court (VTC) that provides VTC participants with a safe environment to perform service hours and learn about community volunteerism. It also provides mentoring and community for these veterans seeking guidance and connection.
